Thought this may be of interest to someone in the market. I am going to the US this weekend to pick up a sled. I could always do a bulk pick up.

How did you make out trying to get an Attak from Maine?
I saw you were looking at one I was looking at. I ended up getting a blue one, but some great deals on red ones as well - $5500 or less!!!

How did you guys make out with the recall letter??
Phinster
In what way? I have it, but I have not done the RIV fee thing yet.
NBrenegade
BRP was or I should say the BRP dealers were asking $399 for the recall letter to discourage buying cross border. I did the RIV fee payment online then you can email the recall letter......
NB-NYTRO
You can get the US dealer to do it for alot less. I just imported an 2007 Outlander 800 and the dealer in Maine provided the No Recall letter and transfered the warranty into my name for $100. Free would have better but still better then the $400 the cad dealers wanted.

Yammie Canada did my recall letter for me no charge within 48 hours of my request on May the 7th.
Scott got hold of Yammie USA who can take up to 5 weeks to send one, and sent it out right away
Great company to deal with.
Just wish they could get the prices closer to the Yank prices.

Yamaha USA is awesome to deal with for No Recall letters. They've faxed my me no recalls letters in minutes no questions asked. Unless something has changed with them???? I think its real petty of BRP to want to charge for the letter.

They were sold for $10,500, to me!! thanks for the info
