Buddy of mine bought an 03 Prox 600 new, sold it because he was not using it it...guy who bought it let a buddy ride it rolled it the guy ended up buying it...cheaper then fixing it. So the original owner just bought it back and is hoping to restore it.

He is going to need a gas tanks, that cross member that goes over the gas tank, a new steering post, tie rod arms, and a bunch of other things. Are all of these parts interchangeable on the 03's or are things specific to this Pro x. Been looking at part numbers and they appear to be different. Anyone have any experience with swapping parts on polaris machines.

Thanks

Bonz:

Tried to send this via PM - but your inbox is full.

I summerized my sled at the cottage on the weekend and realized I need a set of the infamous "inner bogie" wheels.

Let me know if you want to sell yours and what shape they are in.

Thanks.

Chris.

Red Rocket,

my inners are not in good shape, i wouldn't feel comfortable selling them to anyone even though they'd probably be ok I wouldn't wanna have 'em come apart on the first ride on ya...

I swapped out the junk inner wheels for standard indy idlers (5 1/4" I think) and put 1000+ miles on them this past season with no visible wear. I used to have to replace the junk idlers about every 500 miles or so.
