If there is anyone on this forum who has studded a 2006 FST Classic. If so I would like to know what length studs that you used and if you had to use tunnel protectors. I would like to put maybe 144 studs up the center of my track.

Thanks,

Kobalt

Definately required tunnel protectors. Go to the Woodys Traction site for length. They're long ones....

Your sled comes with a 1 1/4 inch track so you'll need to use 1.325" studs. You will need to install rear cooler protectors, but that's it. They are available as a kit from your Polaris dealer and it should cost about 30 or 40 bucks. Make sure you get the right kit for an IQ with M-10. The protectors in the kit for a standard IQ are a little shorter. Oh yeah - they are a bugger to hammer into place, don't be afraid to whack 'em good!

I have 153 down the center (128 in track)

Where can you get these tunnel protectors? A buddy of mine wants to stud his 2006 FST switchback.

At your friendly Polaris dealer.
