I have a family friend looking at buying a 1999 583 ski doo touring for the kids and was wondering how were these sleds. I ride Cat so do not know much about the ski doo engines and later 90's reliabilty. Is the motor problamatic in any way? How is the suspension and ride quailty? Is it a preatty trouble free maintance sled besides the basics. Any responses that would be great. Also the sled has 2300 miles on it. Thanks

You will not have any problems with the 583 they were pretty much bullet proof, the ride will be good for the younger generation, you should have no major problems with that sled other than normal maintenance
