I'd like to put the summit riser on my 09' X...do I need any cable extensions? Thanks.

should fit no problem. I put a 8 inch riser on my 08 XT GadeX.

I saw a BADLY totalled 800X renegade yesterday that the guy put a 10 inch riser on . when he started it , it took off wide open and hit a garbage truck . I would not go with anything over 8" HA HA HA I will try and get pics

Both will fit, you just have to pull the throttle cable out of it's oil pump tie wraps (or risk pulling the oil pump adjuster out, will end up running rich on oil until you figure out what you did...) and the brake line just unclips from the holder. Don't thread the throttle cable through the extension, keep it outside, have fun, very nice boondocking / standing with a taller riser on...
