All,
I didn't realize that Saturday's SnoBuster meeting was at 2:00 as opposedto the usual 7:00 start. As such, I completely missed the meeting and rally wanted to be there. Is there any news to share? Who is succeeding John as president? I look forward to doing trail work this fall with the Snobusters again, and I hope to see you guys out there!

I think Mark is. Forgot his last name he usually does the minutes during the meeting. More time for John to ride now.

I had hoped to go to the meeting but wound up busy until very late in the afternoon. I do have to remember to keep checking the snobusters website this summer so that I'll know when trail work begins.

Have a good summer all!

X4, but Mike is out last I heard fellas. Too bad. He's on the top 3 list for groomers in the STATE OF VT...........

Sorry to see him go.

But, if the time comes, I would vote for him hands down...

Mark Tilley is the new president, clap.gif and Lisa Michaud took over as secretary. coffee-n-news.gif John is now past president, roflmao.gif all other officers and board members remain the same. party.gif New by-laws were adopted and will be posted on the web site at some point. Awards were presented to some individuals as a token of thanks and appreciation for their participation in the club. As of the meeting the club groomed over 6800 miles total with a fuel cost of around $20,000 for diesel. (WOW) Had a good turn out at the meeting, around 50 I think. Dinner was awesome thanks to Sunshine Dave and Tommy for the great cooking and preparation. Plenty of food, snacks, and deserts. A lot of us hung out and shot the bull later.
To bad you missed it, we had a good time. beer_cheers.gif snack.gif

great update on the situation; thanks! If we didn't have 2200 members, we would never be able to fork out 20k for diesel. Thanks to all those who buy Woodford SnoBuster memberships!

For anyone wanting to do trail work this summer and fall if I get any info about dates, I will post it on the forum when I get it.
So keep looking during the year for dates. Some of us will be in the barn on Saturday the 19 to go over the groomers. Change oil, grease, and look them over for any repairs needed. I'm not sure but I think there is one more meeting on the 3rd of May.

Is that 6800 miles combined from all the groomers ? And $20,000 for fuel? At $4 a gallon, that means your burning almost a 1.5 miles per gallon. Doesnt seem right to me. no.gif

That is for all groomers combined. I burn over 30 gallons in PB1 in one trip from the barn over C7100, up to Kellystand RD and back to the barn. It sounds wrong but thats all they get. Those are the numbers Scott reported at the meeting.

What time are people meeting on Saturday? I might be able to make it. If not, I'll see you for trail work from August-->November.

Talked to the boys and we will be at the club around 8:00AM on Saturday the 19th to change oil, and grease the machines for summer storage. We will also be going over each piece of equipment to see what other repairs are needed so we can plan accordingly. Depending on how we do we may get into some other stuff also. Anybody interested in stopping by is welcome to come. You can lend a hand and get greasy or just check things out. Don't be bashful the club always welcomes everybody.
