I was just wondering what would win in 1000-2000', a 2002 ZR 600 EFI, or the 2008 MXZ TNT(500SS). Also, how does the TNT handle, and how much HP? Top speed would be nice also. summer_sucks.gif

Although it's a tuners game..... the TNT shouldn't have a problem, stock for stock.

My brothers 02 ZR 600 EFI will run 98 on gps (105 speedo) don't know if that helps you at all.

It may be a close race I have seen a 500ss engine race before and they are pretty quick... Get some power to the ground and I think you will win!

TNT will beat up on a ZR 600. They both have about the same power but the Doo is 100 pounds lighter so it will pull the ZR hard until 40-50 where it will even out a bit.

tnt, mine hit 110mph on speedo on ice and that was 105mph on the radar. that was a little over 2000 feet

stock for stock the tnt will kill the zr500,zr600, F5 old and new.....I have a 500ss, and im completely stock, my buddy has a F5 with clutching, gearing, vforce, and pretty well dialed carbs etc, and I take it by 2 lengths everytime.

You must be talking about someone else's F5 cause I have Boysen Reeds, and I've beaten you just as many times as you've beaten me ;-) All comes down to hook up. Plus I don't mind my 500cc losing to a 600cc anyways, lol.

That being said, the TNT should win. Power to weight. I also plan on Trading my F5 for the TNT the summer.

ha ha ha!

i think its 3-1 bud!

thought you had vforce'ssssssssss

I dont mind losing to your F5 either...its badass! oh its an F9 forgot he he
RedInteg
lol, no sir. In your old age you must be forgetful. I beat you twice with the F1000 there. You beat me twice in the field in Newbay. And on 2 different days we went 1 to 1 on the tracks. According to my calculations, thats even. Also don't forget, i'm geared up not down like you to accommodate my trail cruiser reverse kit stirthepot.gif haha

All the same, its set up for fun and practical, not speed. But the 500ss is a very strong engine.
