Well, the fat lady has sung, but as I look back, I have experienced what I truly believe to be the best season in ten years, possibly a lot longer,..good friends, good food and grog, a warm camp and a ton of memories. I though it was going to be a good year when a day after opening day I found this,.. Click to view attachment this was a very good sign fer sure. Early season rides this year were great,..and as always, (for me anyways) spiritual at times. Click to view attachment The season went on, and I found some new friends from the HCS board to go riding with, Thanks Joe for the great rides, different scenery is always welcome, should be a long lasting friendship there. (I still like the way my sled looks,..its gooderer grgrin.gif Click to view attachment Saw some great tricks, from old sleds,..Click to view attachment good one arcticat Arnie!! And I saw some happy happy folks as well,... Click to view attachment,.. and of coarse no trip would be complete without a sudden stop at an outhouse in the forest,.. Click to view attachment. But mostly, it was sun filled skies, endless well groomed VAST trails and the ticket to paradise in my own opinion. Click to view attachment. So, as the sun sets on the greatest year in memory, The boys from Camp Serbie in Lunenburg would like to give thanks to the landowners who allowed us to enjoy their trails, land and scenery, without their generosity, we would have NOTHING!! And also to the groomers and trail workers, who without them, riding a 15 mile day would be brutal, thanks guys!!! From the boys at My camp,.. "Arcticat ' Arnie,.. Eric "Limerocket' Carleson,. Glen 'one ski half a track on the ground' Martin,.and our new friends, Joe (we will come up with a name for you), and Mike 'drive a different sled a day' G,..and of corase myself, Don 'serbiesnow' Serbin,.. Thanks to ALL!!! Ride safe, stay alive, lets all do this again next year!!!Click to view attachment

I spoke with the folks on the vintage Ski-Doos Sunday night. They were tickled pink for being included on the HCS site. Thanks!

While not a Vermont landowner myself, it is nice to see people give thanks to the landowners that make snowmobiling possible
