Looking to buy a full sized backhoe to help with the new house.
It doesn't have to be perfect, just reliable, I want to build the house, not wrench on a backhoe.
Older is OK, newer is better.
A 4x4 JD preferred, but all considered.
Closer to the straits the better, but will look at anything in Michigan.
I can arrange for shipping if necessary.
It would be a CASH deal, with deposit money, and balance upon loading/delivery.
PM me through this site if you have one, or know of one.

Thanks guys, I have checked a ton of local dealers, and there just are no deals out there right now on 4x4s. The auction prices are just crazy, I don't know what it is with people. I have heard from more then one person that tractor prices are high because they are being shipped overseas. I can't really beleive that, unless they are talking about the new tractors, and driving up the cost on the used units.
I waisted $50 in gas to go look at one downstate last weekend, and when I got there the trans was about shot, a $6k fix. I will update my preferred machine list to JCB, and Deere, and in the meantime, I am still looking ...

Just bumping this to the top. I have looked at a couple but people keep hiding serious problems (like I won't check it out or something)
So, still looking, and I am headed to Detroit on the 21st, and can look at one anywhere between the UP and there.

Nope its a John Deere 410E 4wd I think. It looks nice, maybe new paint???

Thanks for the heads up. That was one heck of a nice machine, not new paint, a new machine! (about 25k over my budget though)
The good news is the search has ended. I bought a Deere 310c just South of Lansing in Eaton Rapids this morning. A nice machine, well cared for, with 2 extra buckets, forks and a jib pole. Looking forward to getting the work started.
Now, a new new search has begun:
I can have this hauled by a local contractor, but since the St. Ignace Car Show is this coming weekend, I thought I would post this up here to see if anyone was headed this way, and wanted to pay for their trip by hauling this up for me. It weighs 6-7 ton.
Anybody heading this way, PM me and we can work out a deal!
