I am looking at new sleds for next year, and was wondering if the 07 or 08 switchbacks can accept a 2" paddle track. Is there enough clearance, and does the track need to be notched or not? Any info is greatly appreciated. Also, are the stock drivers on the sb 2.52 pitch or 3" pitch?

Plenty of room for a 2 incher on both of those sleds. No notching or mods needed (except maybe gear/clutching for the extra resistance)

2.52" pitch

Switchback 07's are all 144", 08's are all 136"

yes you can, you can run a 2.25 easy. and you dont need a notched track. it doesn't have deep cooler strips like the edge sled had. it got a cooler on the back and running boards in 07 and tehn built into tunnle flat ones in 08 aloing with running board ones.

Most definatly have the room. Took a look at a switch today. However you will not gain much going to another 600 and you don't want the 900! When we talked you wanted more power! May want to consider other options.

Looking for a track for the Crossfire myself. One more year out of the sled then it will be Assault time I think.
