I'm getting an Turbo touring, to pull the Kids around but also for me to have fun on, as kind of an on trail attack sled. We put an 45" wide Front End on our Yammie Attak and it turned out awesome, So I want to try it on the Turbo as well.
Fabcraft will build custom front ends for the Turbo's, out of Chrome Moly. Not only will we reduce weight an few pounds, the wide front end should really help the stability and offset the 144" Track.
As the Shocks are mounted to the spindles, I assume I'll have to use longer shocks and tie rods as well.
I was going to use Floats on the front end anyways and have noticed that the Crossfires/M's use 18.8" shocks versus 17.50" shocks on the F Chasis(Does Anyone know if you can get them 19.5" in length or Modify them? The Fox Website says they are 19.5" long). So I'm going to Aim for an front end minimum 2.6" wider than stock(45.6" Total), if I can find 19.5" Shocks I will go for an 47" wide Front end. Fabcraft can make longer Tie Rods no problem.
Anyone else interested? A one off set will cost about $800, which I'm happy to pay but if more people want them they said they could make an jig and bring the cost down.
