There was one like it on ebay a while back, it had a starting bid of $3000, nobody bid on it... did you try KBB.com or nada.com ?

I also own a Predator (2005 TLD) and can tell you that for whatever reason they do not move or get the price that they should on e-bay. It doesn't seem to give you a fair estimate of what the market will bear for these quads.

I have contemplated selling mine and have come to the conclusion (based on NADA values and what I have seen around) that for my quad asking around 4 and hoping for 3500 would be a good idea. This is in SE Michigan.

seeing how those predators arent the best sport quad, and i just picked up a 05 trx450r here in ny for under 2500 bucks. theres not a big market right now for em. nobody has disposable income seems like. i know of one for sale in upsate ny for 2500 an the kid hasnt had anybites so..... how bad do you wanna sell

I disagree, I think they are a great sport quad. They are not a great MX racing quad because they were not built to be a MX race quad. As far as trail riding, fire road riding and all around riding go they are great. Will easily handle what 90% of riders will throw at them. Many models came stock with Fox Podium shocks w/ rezzies, much better than factory setups on most sport quads. Another nice feature is that reverse was standard from 04 (or maybe 05) on up. I didn't think I would really care about reverse but it is nice to have and when you have it, you use it all the time.

I am not trying to turn this into a "which quad is better" thread. I just think that saying they are not the best quad out there so they aren't worth much is an innacurate statement. They are a capable quad that will meet the needs of 90% of the riders out there. They do have a smaller following though, and that can make selling them a bit tougher.

They dont sell like alot of 450's and such will. If i had to guess i would say this is because they are no considered adted sence theyve been replaced by better quads, and they were known to have problems in 03, and some 04's
madam328
I think its worth 2700-3000.

Cause they suck!!

I bought one the first year they came out for racing and it was cool, then honda and yamaha came out with the 450's and put the predator in its place. They are way underpowered and way to heavy.

If you can sell yours for any amount of money get rid of it.

i call bs.i still have an 03,raced moto x for 3 years straight, won the spring and fall series every year.and yes i ran against many yfz,z,andtrx 450 and i have many pics of me taking holeshots.if you get the right driver and know how to tune them they are a weapon.heavy yes as nimble as a 450 no but they still peform well, very underated.i now run a nicholas cycle 574 13.5.1 big bore, hotcams, porting, many carb mods, dalton clutch basket, barnett carbon clutch, aaen megapower pipe, slip on k&n,also updated tranny kit.i have been on a legit radar clocked 86mph on a dirt rd with 19 inch rear tires and still spinning badly.the only thing that stays in front of me now is my buddys 4mm stroked banshee.sorry to ramble on but like i said the preds are way underated and i think they should have not dropped the pred,my 02.

exactly my point....way to heavy to race competitivley and they do not have the power they should. My uncle raced for Factory Polaris when the preds came out for 2 years, he was very happy when his contract ran out so he could go back to his Hondas. It was impossible to win races with something that is 75lbs heavier than everything else on the track.

i would put money on any pro rider being at least 5 seconds/lap faster on my Honda over your Pred. they are a great trail machine but they are not fit for the track

i was racing pro and winning against the 450.like i said with the right person on the pred they can go fast on a moto x track.sucked the wind right outa me by the end of a moto but if it dosnt kill you it will only make you tougher.lol.
