Full Version: Bearing Grease for a 600ho???

I just got the crank rebuilt for my '07 RMK 600ho and am getting ready to put the engine back together.

Which crank bearings on this engine need isoflex and which ones are lubricated by the oil injection??

I just took a really close look at how things are setup to oil the bearings.

The PTO side bearings have an oil injection line so I'm going to say that they don't need any isoflex grease since the injected oil will just wash out the grease.

The centre bearings and waterpump shaft also have an oil injection line so they won't need grease either.

The MAG side bearing does not appear to have any oil fed to it. This is the bearing that I am concerned with. Does it need grease or does it get injection oil from somewhere??

All the crank bearings use the injection oil. I would not recommend using grease.

I just spoke to my rebuilder and he said the same thing. Thanks
