whats the stock gearing on a 99 rmk 700? im running 21/41 and idk if this is low enough to pull a 144/2" well.

nm I looked up the chain case assembly at my local dealers website and i have stock gearing.. think I should drop a tooth or two for the 144 or should my sled pull it just fine?

21/41 will easily pull a 2" 144 track. I have the same gears on my 98 600 rmk With a 2" 144 finger track...works excellent.

Ight cool, I looked it up and thats stock gearing on my sled. I just wasnt sure if I wanted to gear it down a but for a 144, never put one on these sleds. all I know is with a 156 i had to drop it 2 teeth and that thing rips!

I know there were a few guys back in the day that geared their sleds down, said they did'nt care about top end, just acceleration. Not so sure why, as my gearing is also stock, and my sled can hang with anything out there that is not studded, the finger track just works on the hardpack.
