Polaris Kid XCR 700
1. Why does the intercooler fan run when I shut it off?
2. How long do you let your sled idle to cool the turbo down when you stop? Anoying when trying to talk with freinds.
3. Does anyone smell there belt when you first start moving?

1. It runs to cool the incoming charge in preperation for the next start.

2. Depends on how hard you were just riding. If you were putting thru the woods, just shut it off. If you just did a long wide open run, let it idle a couple minutes. Use your judgement for the inbetween situations. It is not imperitive you let it idle before shutting down, but it is just good practice to cool the turbo a bit.

3. Never.
