the cooler replaces the two tubes under the seat that transfer coolant from the front heat exchanger to the rear. You remove the tubes, cut a slot in the tunnel and rivit the exchanger in with a little automotive silicone on the edges to seal it . Look at the diagram in brownsleisureworld.com for a 95 Thundercat and you will see what it looks like.It will give you at least 50% more cooling. My Zrt 900 ran over 170 all the time without it.
All cats need the added heat exchanger in the rear as witnessed by Tcatsteve running 170 degrees on his ZRT 900. Just put a water temp gauge in any stock ZRT/T-Cat and you will be shocked at how hot they run. We just put it in the back and left the tunnel exchangers where they were at.
