thats insane on a sled... last weekend i saw another guy besides travis do a double backflip... does mercer still have the jump record or did paul thacker beat it?

yeah scott murray, he lives somewhere around me, i dont know him but he lives in the up close to me, and i think mercer still has it

Mercer holds the record for Long distance at 277 feet, and yes, he is trying for the double flip. I was at the jump he built for it at Haines summit, he only single flipped but then over rotated on the next one, he can for sure do it. I think he is going to try and huck it in whistler. Stay tuned, It may go down in the next few days/week or so.....

when did mercer do 277. thacker just did 271 in when was in not, jan or was it feb at canabera park. that was the record them, mercer break it again this spring.

yeah... thats what i thought to the thacker beat mercers old record i guess not..

As far as I know Mercer had it had 263 or 267 then Thacker went big and went in the 270's

Hey thanks, we got one more commin from this year that is way better then our other stuff. The 2 cats are 440s, rev is a 03 800mod, iq is an 06 with a 600 in it.

Thacker went 271 in early winter, broke ross's 263.5, Ross broke it a week later in sweden, 277. Double flip watch is still on....

what i love about it is mercer has beaten thackers record twice now just weeks after thacker hyped his all up with monster and caterbury and everything, and mercer just goes and does it infront of freinds and cameras i think its way cooler that way and i give mercer mad props.

anyways heres my 08 xp 600 mod with trygstad motor, i just picked up a few days ago from bauerly racing.

il add the second time mercer broke the record was infront of a crowd but the first time was at the compound, if you ask me there is way to much hype around thacker and world record jumps, still not as bad as jimmy blaze and the backflip though.
