I thought I heard that a B2B ride is planned for 2009. I would love to get a group of us HCSs to do it from Woodford north. Does anyone have information about whether the event is actually planned? Is anyone out there interested in doing it? I think it would be awesome if we could get 10 or 15 people together to do the trip; it would give us all an excuse to get together and meet one another. It would be nice to attach a real face and personality to that avatar!

[/quote My buddies and me are already planning on dooing our own the weekend of the New Hampshire snodeo next March. We figure we'll head up from woodford on wednesday morning and figure we'll get to the house in Irasburg maybe around 9 or 10. Then on Thursday we'll just sleep in then ride over to the Snodeo on Friday. Should be a hell of a weekend of riding. Depending on snow!

Let me put my body armor on before I ask this question, ready, is the ultimate point of the B2B to raise awareness or raise money? Probably both but untimely the money is most important. With gas prices so high and the impact such an event has on the trail system, wouldn't it be more beneficial to stay home one weekend and take the money that you would spend on riding in the event and donate it?

Hey SX, The law of averages state that you will finish the Ride next year. I mean, what else could go wrong? However, given your luck on the three previous B2Bs, as you make your way down the last stretch to Pidgeon's, you will probably become the first snowmobiler to have his sled destroyed by a meteorite! LOL!! Seriously, We are glad to have you guys on board. The Cystic Fibrosis and Donna Crandall Foundations are grateful and fortunate to have dedicated riders like yourselves participate in this event. THANK YOU!
