I have 4 mach z tripples, all have minor mods, reeds, heads cut, two have pipes, I hold mine wide open for well over 2 miles running radar, never had a problem yet., I've got two that run in the 120's, the others are high teens, They beat almost everything on the top, except other tripples, thundercats, etc.

I put a 800 triple in my Mach 1 last fall, it was ported and piped. I put on over 3000km this year and so far it's been a really good motor. I had 16,000km on my 700 and they are very similar motors. That motor wasn't babied, I held it wide open for miles down the river. Why didn't you post this topic in the rotax triples forum?

Are you sure they were talking about the triple Mach Z? Every motor has that potential dpending on who's hands it's in although some seem to get a bad rep (Twin Mach Z) fueled by internet talk.

i think you have been misinformed!
800 triple mach's z are pretty much bullet proof, unless you do some radical modding!

If you are wondering about doo triples, Benoit Racing and The Crankshop are just 2 names that come to mind that can speak highly of them.
