me,my family,tyson and brian went back to our homeland!!......man that was quite the ride there!!.....my family took the bus to thompson then flew up to Tadoule Lake and we drove all the way there!!
1475 km ride one way, stop only for fuel, food and ofcourse to use the restroom...lol tyson's first time on the (closed)winter road. my brother inlaw met us about 107 kms from the community.
7 1/2 hours to thompson, stayed there for about 1/2 hour fueled up, ate and left, got to lynn lake about 4 hours later, hit the winter road at 5 am and made it to tadoule lake by 7 pm the next day

I was in Tadoule a few years back, it's a lot nicer to fly out of Thompson then drive, do you that the same road out of Lynn that you do to South Indian? Or is there a differnt road to Tadoule?

the road is from lynn lake...the old road went through south indian at one point!!....oh yeah there's a map there....zoom in!!....

Ya, good job on the vid. I never made it that far (Leaf Rapids was my turnaround) and was always curious what the area looked like.

well now you can see some of what it looks like there.....awesome riding still up there.......still very much winter there!!

so im abit confused? are those guys crossin that road like in some kinda race? lol, looks wild tho, couldnt imagine drivin 3000 kilometers in like a week lol

i guess you werent paying attention to the video....it says "cross country snowmobile race" in one of the clips....and yes they are crossing the road....just one of the many obstacles they face in a race like that!!........not a boys race thats for sure....gotta man up for a race like that!!
