I am going to put a polaris 136 kit on 2002 edge 600 with a 1 1/4 ripsaw (maybe). Right now the sled has almond/blue with 10-62 weights and secondary has a r-8 helix sliver blue spring in the 3rd hole. The midrange is great right now. I have not touched the gearing yet. I am not looking for top speed if it gets to 90mph thats great I look for midrange. I may just gear down on the top gear not shure If I can use the old setup.

I am kinda at a stand still on what track to get for this sled. I have extended my 2007 IQ to a 136 with a ripsaw but the track digs in the powder. I may just swap tracks put something new on the IQ. Any info on tracks would be great I like the cobra track but seems the lugs are too soft. thanks for any info.

I just put the 136" 1 1/4" ripsaw on my wifes 01 600xc. Goes great stock, I went from a 39 to 40 tooth bottom gear in and it just barely fit, to go to the 41 I would need a longer chain. It was real snappy with the 40 in. Didn't get a chance for an extended top end run with it. But as it's my wifes sled it was a little bit to snappy for her so I went back to stock 39 tooth bottom gear.

Run 22/40 with the stock chain and your current setup should work fine, and you'll have plenty of topend speed. I had an '01 600xcsp that I extended out to 136"x1.25" with that gearing and it ripped. I had Heelclicker clutching also. Use the Ripsaw on the XC and buy the 1.5" Intense for the IQ.
Really surprised you are still riding the Edge chassis after owning the IQ.
