Five regional trails planning workshops scheduled
Help shape a vision for trails in New York State
Help shape a vision for trails in New York State by attending one of five regional workshops being held by the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP), in conjunction with Parks & Trails New York. The purpose of the workshops is to provide citizens, government representatives, and members of the state’s hundreds of trail groups with an opportunity to review inventory and mapping work completed by OPRHP; offer information on new opportunities to create connections between communities, parks, and ecological communities; and express a vision for trails in their area. Please attend one if you can-this does concern every snowmobiler in New York State and might even lead to access where we don't have any now.

It is my understanding that the forum asked if any ATVers were in the crowd andf not one hand went up, this is sad and even more so now with the announcement of the closing of the truck trails to atv in New York, we need to represent all recreational groups at these meeting or they will interpet it to say that none of the ATV community was interested in their future.............
