I've been keeping my eyes open for an 07/08 FST. However, found an 06 Switchback that's hard to pass on. I know they had some first year issues, but did the udates correct all concerns? (speaking of performance and reliability more than handling - I'm thinking skis and spindles will be in order as well). Any non-update issues to watch for?

Your feed back is appreciated - Thanks!

make sure the altenator belt isn't over tightened is about the only thing I can think of that wasn't done as an update. But I'm no expert.

'06 FST's are fine once all the updates are done. No worse than an '07 or '08. Just so long as the updates are ACTUALLY done (not just claimed) and done PROPERLY.

You just need to make sure the updates were actually done. Probably the toughest one is to make sure the oil restrictor is in the right spot.

With the updates done, the '06, '07, and '08s are all pretty equal.

i agree they run pretty good but make sure the updates are done.they sometimes have a way of getting missed, had a friend that bought a sled "that had all the updates done"cost him an extra 800 bucks to find out they weren't.
