Tough day for any southern VT trails. It has been thundering and pouring for about a half hour in southeastern vt...

WE road woodford last night . Thur. 4/3 the trails are still in great shape. A little icey in spots, a little thin in spots, but only 2 or 3 small bare holes all the way to Jenks. Past the grommer on the the way, As the snow on the trails gets thinner the bumps and whoops get smaller. The last three week the tails have been outstanding. Get out and ride this weekend. Thanks again to all that do that voo doo that you do.

I too rode Woodford yesterday after work. Took off from the pine valley parking lot and rode over to Somerset resevoir. Then backtracked and headed over to Kelleystand road. I must say - Kelleystand road was flat and fast - not one bump to be found - - - up until I ran into the tracks of 2 seperate vehicles that tore the shit out of the road about 1/4 mile up from Kelleystand parking lot. Up until that point - it was incredible for April 3. As stated above - a few turns that had some dirt, but nothing that you can't get around. In speaking with the owner of Tiffts trading post in Woodford - they had about 3" of new snow and it was still snowing when he left for work this a.m.
Rode 52 miles total. If your questioning yourself about getting that last ride in - I say do it - yes, expect spring conditions, but you won't be entirely dissapointed.

Rode out of Kendall Farm Road yesterday. North to Rt 11, back to Jenks, then to Woodford and back. All the main trails were in great shape, side trails are just about beat. Skied today at Stratton, got soaked. There is still plenty of snow, but this rain is going to do some damage.

After reading about the trails being groomed Sunday night I decided for one more ride in Woodford. We Unloaded at A-Z around 6:30 Monday night and headed north. Trails were OK but from Airport Road to Jenk's it was great. We sat at the top of the powerlines near Jenks and watched the sunset (I wish I had my camera) Then headed back and ended with a nice little 70 mile trip to end the season on. I ended up turning just over 2000 miles on my XP. The trails were flat and fast as the snow was setting up and passed about 10 other sleds getting in their last ride. While I was riding I was thinking what a great day it was as just a few hours earlier I was playing golf and now being able to ride my snowmobile. If you wanted to get one more ride in I would park at Airport Road or the north end of Sommerset and just stick to the roads as the trails are starting to get real thin. Thanks for a great season Woodford Snobusters and see you in December

I like it. It is softer and you do not feel all the little bumps that you feel with the firm x seat. It has soft top foam that progressively gets firmer the more you compress it. I really like the extra storage it provides and the unique Boss look. It also weighs only 3 lbs!!
Sorry to get off topic Mark, but I would say if you listen real close you can hear the fat ladies starting to really sing in Woodford.
