Just wondering if there will be any riding left this weekend in the N.Lower and if not how far across the bridge will I have to go? Thanks...Jim.

watching the weather to see what it is suppose to do but if it holds a bit I'm planning to go to grand marais friday

I was up on the Blue bear last Saturday AM and it was prefectly flat but icy, not much lube. It looks like it rained pretty good up there yesterday, I would guess it is ice and dirt by now.

If all you want to do is race around the blue bear,its good to go! The roads and what ever are shot. There is very little dirt on the bear, and I gave it a "farewell" groom on sunday night,didnt see a sled while I did either!

You'll want to go to at least Trout lake ,There was some in St Ignas but not really worth riding on,anouther half hour & it got fresh snow yesterday not shur how it will hold up with the 40degree days coming.We only saw one other sled yesterday breaking snow driffs all day.Went across the bay to bay mills I think thats the last time anyone will want to do that this year.
