I asked HCS to start a Rotax Triple subforum because I thought there would be some interest in having our own forum to discuss our sleds but no ones using it.
Come on, someone must have a question about there sled or need to find a part or have some thing to post.

Hi, Looking at a 94 or 95 Mach Z triple ( don't know a lot about them, except they look mean ) speedo shows
7200 klms., What goes wrong with these???. Sled looks nice, owner wants $ 500. Needs windshield,
bunch of idlers, TLC etc. Are they good Sleds, love the look. What are things that need looking at??

I don't know much about the Mach Z before 98. The 98 and 99 Mach Z had very strong motors, it's not uncommon to put on over 10,000 km with out a problem. If your looking at a sled with 7200 kms, the owner hasn't had any problems, it runs good and has good compression I'd say it has a strong motor. Even though I'm trying to get the triple forum going on HCS if you want lots of opinions put a post on the triple forum on Dootalk.

Provided things are in good condition, the motor alone is worth well more then $500 and the ignition is also a sought after item. All in all the older 780 Mach Z's are strong running sleds. Just outdated
