X2.....I painted mine with Krylon Fusion. No prepping, just spray it on and let it dry. It actually turned out way better than I expected. Cost me about $8.00 to paint all the plastic as opposed to over $200 in new plastics. Remember, its a snowmobile, not a custom show car and from your previous posts all you talk about is jumping and sno-cross and stuff like that so I dont think you want to scratch up new plastic.

Oh yeah, if you use flat black it hides mistakes better than gloss or semi-gloss and it also matches the rest of the flat black on the engine covers and other stuff.
