Same here, but did you see the list of directors on there and what they do?? Hope I never get in an accident in the Duluth area and need one of them to help me!!
And the Executive Director is on a bunch of transportation boards up there, no wonder Hwy 61 turns into a rural street while going through town.

Ooh well back to my granola bar...

And yes, I am a member of MNUSA and the Wisconsin Club, figure the money is worth helping the fight.

You know - I am a member of MnUSA and the AMA, but after reading how they blocked dirt bike trails, I think I will be withdrawing my support.

Minnesota has the worst outlook on dirtbikes for whatever reason. Theyre much more quiet than jetskis and sleds, they have a much softer impact on the land compared to atv's - yet bikes are banned virtually everywhere in this state.

I feel sad that I am supporting snowmobiling that cant coincide with complimentary motorsports. Especially in a state where snow is becoming a precious commodity. We have 22,000 miles of trails for sleds. Atv's can go anywhere theres a ditch (which wont last long with these new monsters and jackasses tearing up everyones property), yet a dirtbikes considered a nuisance by the general populace (which find obnoxiously loud harleys to be acceptible).

Guess I wont renew my MnUSA membership

You're completely correct about dirtbikes being ripped off. I have sent letters to David Dill (our rep up here) and he replied that it would be tough to do but he would look into it. The main reason bikes aren't on the trails is because bikers are not as organized as ATVers and Snowmobilers. But dirtbikes have had to be registered for a few years now so in my letter to Dill I said that that money could be put into the ATV trail maintenance, in exchange for allowing dirtbikes to ride the existing trails. I also sent a similar letter to ATVAM but they tried to convince me that there were enough places for dirtbikes to ride when I have a trail across the road that I am banned from riding...
