i was looking to see if i could throw in a xc700 1997 motor into my 2006 iq 440 does anyone know if it would work?? and if so will is just bolt in?

yes, the best part is you don't need the BB mod steering hoop to make it work. I also think you can use the straight 440 post as well. I'll haveta check. The non valved motors make this swap a lot easier than valved ones.

how much hp are the non valved 700's making?

1.5" between the straps and the motor?

the 1.5" and stock straps are for the mod post/hoop get brads plate and it fits right in then u can run the stock pipe and cut the y pipe so it is level and build a can and well .. u have the same sled i do ill get some pics in a few of im mine im runnin the same set up
