Was browsing the 09 Polaris brochure today and noticed the 800 Shift weighs in at 477 lbs while the Assault comes in at 487. The larger pitch track should not weigh much more because of fewer bars. The shocks are different, but again I can't imagine them weighing much more if any. More sets of wheels in the suspension?

Anyone know?

With the longer pitch the track has less "bars" be it is pretty beefy so it may weigh more. There is a lot more supports in the rear suspension and rails plus the wider front so they may all add up.
