Hi was woundering if parts of my 2004 700 will work on a 2001 800 like the stator,water pump,recoil, my air box, carbs? Thanks

What are you planning to do?
As far as I know,water pump,recoil and air box will fit the 01 motor as well. Fly wheel is 4* more advanced on the 04.
Carbs can interchange, the difference is that the 01/02 carbs has pilot air jets,while 03 and later has air screws.
Read somewhere that the 01 carbs were longer and required different air box boots....????
