I am planning on heading up to the UP, Northern Newberry by the Pine Stump. Anyone got the conditions up there? Let me know if it will be worth it, heading up on thursday night until sunday.

I just got back early this morning from the area. Everything I rode was great except right around Newberry getting low around town but it was ridable.

just got back this afternoon. we rode the area just north of your dads and stayed up a the stump. the off trail stuff is great and the trails are better than i have seen them in years, to bad you weren't there this weekend, we could have hook up for a ride.

as a note to everyone, Rainbow lodge is closed after today, so there will be no gas there. there is a ton of great snow but a lot of the gas and food stops are already closed or still plan to close after the 31st. so call ahead and plan your gas stops out.

We just got in at 5 today took the family up for the last ride. Rode trail 9 on Saturday out of Newberry conditions were great and we rode trail 8 into Grand Maris on Sunday that trail was also great. Getting in and out of town is bare not much snow on the side of rodes alot of pavement. There is alot of snow left in the woods. We saw the TASA groomer come in Saturday morning and came across the Grand Maris on Sunday. The Wolf Inn was closed and there was also was no gas, did notice that the Pine Stump was still open. The best thing to do is get gas in town and stage. When we left they were calling for 5-10 inches of snow tonight. We also saw a bald eagle on the way into Grand Maris that was pretty cool. We saw Law Dog on trail 9 and said Hello.
