Real nice vid.. It's a little back to the grassroots with the playing around just having some fun, wich was pictured in some of the first snomobile-movies wich i still hold for the best and most entertaining movies made :-)
Keep up the good work and get some more movies on the road for us...

Cool video!

I would say that ramp gap looks about 65-70 ft to the knuckle. Thats a good size push for sure. Has the guy doin seat grabs even had any nose dive issues due to grabbin with his right hand?

very nice......how fast are you hitting the big ramp at? how do you keep the end poles from being hammered down on the first run? how thick do you make the ramp?

how come everyone asks that speed question? You don't look at your speed its all feel, you have to look at it and figure out what speed feels right and go for it. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. There is a flat bar that runs the length of the ramp that sits on the ground.

because you know how fast without me havin ta guess and endoing first to fing out it needs to be 50.....just like when people ask me how fast do you go to cross a fast flowing wide river.....i tell em cross at the rapids at NO LESS THAN 50.....i don't say just hit it.....its a feeling i get

forget it

I see your point but if i said ok go hit that ramp at 40 and u will be fine, u still wont. Theres way more to it then speed, u need to preload and adjust the pitch of your sled in the air. Also the slightest change in acceleration or decel. will afftect how u come off the lip. My buddy jumped that same distance dead stopped from 30 ft before the ramp...theres a million differnt ways to jump it.

Water your speed can be whatever, u could go alot faster or slower and be fine. With that ramp...too slow=hospital, too fast likely a broken back. So if someone said hit it no less then 40 u may come off at 43mph overshoot and break your back. If you can't look at it and figure it out for yourself u have no business hitting a ramp. I would show up do some speed check passes beside the ramp then based on that decide what feels right.

If someone told u to hit it at exactly 30mph how would u even be able to make sure ur goin that speed while concentrating on lining up the ramp properly and preloading etc etc. Theres sooo many variables.

timeing is the key, and throttle control, and a iq doesnt have a speedo

id agree on everything said here. ive ony ever hit one ramp before but i hit lots of big sno stuff and some of the funniest approaches nad stuff like that racing to. its all aobut feel and it you not feeling good and are not commited you are screwed. some of the stuff we hit it riding is 85 foot plus on a regular day. even racing we are hitting approaches and doing over 60 feet of them hitting then sometime at 80MPH or more (it still scares the living shit out of me sometime) but really a pinned throttle somepaired to a closed throttle at the lip is a big difference even if your going the exact same speed. on you will be skis high and long tial heavy the other ski low nad watch out your going end over end. then you have control with the throttle and brake in the air also. biggest problem for alot of people is they hit stuff full throttle and wheelie through the air. learning to control hitting the jump at the right speed and throttle and then good air control being able to even your slef out and land flat and straight is soemthing not learnd overnight.
