I would like to ride on the south side of the river near Quebec City I think the town is called St. Nichols for a starting point, and head northeast for about 150 miles, spend the night ? Then head southeast toward St. George, spend the night and then back to St. Nichols. Can this be done and where would you recommend to stay ?

There is plenty of snow on the south shore,5 to6feet worth. If you are starting in St Nicholas,Hotel Bieniers is a .good hotel.Head up towards Montagamy and then head south towards St Georges or thetfordmines, probably more snow towards Thetfordmines. We were in that area last weekend and it was better than mid winter conditions.I"d be back this weekend but i booked a trip to Aruba with the misses, boy I f$$$$$up.Get up there and enjoy.
