I spoke with Chris at Tour Buddy today, He has the prototype all built but needs some orders to start producing them. The price will be $179.00 and it will take about two hours to install. The tank will fit all "F" seris sleds as well as the "Z" sleds and 07 and 08 Jag's (will not fit the TZ sleds). The tank holds an additional 2.5 gals, so you wil have a little over 13 gal's.

He need's to get orders for about 100 of these tanks before he will start building them, so all those that are interested need to contact him ASAP!

I think that is a very good price, it includes all plumbing hardware and it feeds directly into the main tank so you have over 13 gal's on the new 08 Z's and almost 15 gal's on the F's

I can carry a 1.5 gallon jerry can in the trunk of my 07 Z1 and still have space to spare in there. I would not want to lose my trunk to a tour buddy when all that space is available in the nose cone, it should be built to go there. To get about 15 miles more range I would have to buy the tour buddy and some quality bags to replace the trunk. Not for me.

Zoso, I guess that is the problem Tour Buddy is having, everybody wants it someplace else. With the new turbo there is no longer any room up front and when it cost $20 grand to tool up to make these things you had better get it right the first time for they can not make one for each model sled, kinda like Cat and the gas tank. I will use saddle bags whether they build the tank or not. This is a chance to add some range to your sled with a trouble free system, but we as sledders need to set up and commit to a few so he knows he will at least get his investment back.

Vince,

Yes, I have posted this on the "F" forum and on ArcticChat as well. I also sent you a e-mail Thur this site as well!

Would like to see it a little lower so you could close the trunk for a little "cleaner" look. That tank size is whats been holding me back from buying one the last 2 years. I see the 09's finally have the bigger tank, so I can decide on the 09 or the 07 and 08 with tour buddy, hopefully.
