We've been having intermittant bogging (bad) on the wifes XLT this season. If she keeps the engine really wound out it runs fine. Dropping the carb needles down one notch really helped clean it up and the sled runs much better. Does that indicate that I should go one size smaller on the needle jet (long brass tube)? It's also a bit fat off idle so thinking one size smaller on the idle jets would help as well.
