I was curious to see if anyone has one and knows how accurate they are??? The stock ones are useless on the t-cat! Anyone been on radar or gps, and know how accurate the speedo's are?? thanks for the help.

I was under the impression they were just standard speedos with more numbers on them. They certainly are not like police speedos that are certified

So they're way off?? So if the speedo's reeding 120, I'm probably going 100??? This is what I was wondering. How acuurate, they actually were, verses the radar, or gps. Someone must know??????????

Well here is a great idea for you. Take it out on the lake and run it on radar and you will see how fast it really is.

The golden rule is about 8% off, so if your running 125 mph are actually supposed to be running 115 mph. but i was in a race with a 08 xp800R and it has the new style speedometer that recalls your top speed from history and we were 116 mph on his speedo and mine was between 115 and 120 mph.

the xp speedos are off around 8 mph. that would put you at 107- 112 mph...

I got the bm speedo, and it shows about 110 when the radar gun says 100 - so 8% is fairly accurate, and btw the bm speedo has a completely different face, it looks stock, but not like some numbers were added to the stocker in some cheezy fashion.

You could always replace the 9 tooth drivers with 10 tooth and then your speedo reads correct, maybe run into clearance problems with long studs thoe...
