Heaven forbid the northern part of the state actually gets a sizable snow storm this year. mother_nature.gif It has been amazing how the track of all the big storms this year ended up going over the southern part of the state. It sure has been a great year for snow in the southern part of the state this year!

Ok, I hate to say it but these last snows are useless. I love the snow just as much as anyone, but if you can't use it, what good is it. That 8-10" was neat last Fri.....it's gone on Tues. I can actually say I'm looking forward to some green grass.........So I can tee it up..........LOL

1badho, know what your sayin about grass, but summer_sucks.gif And as far as tee-in it up this summer, give me a shout sometime, maybe we can lose a few balls. LOL......... jerry....

crybaby.gif How many years have those of us living in the southern part of the state had to listen to those of you who live up north brag about getting snow every day? I remember when I was a kid how all the resort owners in northern Wisconsin used to always say, "come play in our beautifull snow".
This is the first really good year we have had really since the '70s. Let us enjoy it.
I personally agree that the snow is useless and I too kind of wish it would all be rain so that the snow would melt and that way I could start getting some yardwork done, but Im enjoying it.
At the very least, this winter has reminded people that rain and temps in the 50s are not part of a normal Wisconsin winter.
I always had to chuckle this year when Id hear someone say, "why does it have to snow again???" I always just kinda thought to myself, "Hmmm, lets see. Its winter and you are in Wisconsin. What did you expect, rain and temps in the 50s? If you dont like it, perhaps you should live somewhere warmer."

You could probably still ride the forest roads in northern Wisconsin, but Id say after the temps in the 50s yesterday that all of the trails that cross private land are closed.

Will do! BTW the Walworth County Snowmobile Alliance has an annual golf outing June 28th at Evergreen Golf Club in Elkhorn WI. Get a 4some together and come play. I will be posting more info as the date gets closer.
