I am just wondering if any of you guys/gals have a yellow chrome windshield on your SKS. I have a 03 SKS and I am thinking of getting a yellow chrome windshield for it but I was hoping to see what it looks like first so if anybody has one please post a picture. At least give some input on if you guys/gals think it would look good. Thanks!!

Thanks for the response, I was affraid to get one and have it look really bad but it looks really good on those sleds. I have the exact same sled but not with all the accessories I just bought it saturday. Thanks for the picture and I am definately going with the yellow chrome windshield!

I also just added a sportech edge hood scoop in yellow too. Boy does it turn some heads on the trail. I'll get a few pics of it in the next couple of days.

Well bought the windshield today...ended up being more expensive then I expected but had to pay shipping and tax, ended up being right around $115 but oh well money's made to be spent right:)

I was torn between the yellow and red for mine also..... I wanted to find a yellow Skid Plate but had to settle for a Red HD Polaris one that I got a deal on.....$30shipped.... Also, ended up with a 8 1/2" Cobra Red shield for $40 shipped.......Both new... I'm always looking for deals

Sounds like you got two great deals. I did find yellow hood vents and a yellow skid plate, paid $35 for both items shipped. The skid plate is a little gouged up but if it isn't too bad then I got a heck of a deal!! And like you I am always down for a good deal.

WOW that thing looks really good! I just heard from teh place where I ordered my yellow chrome windshield and they said that model has been discontinued so they can't find one!! So I guess I won't be getting a yellow chrome ws for the sled. I'm pretty pissed off right now, hey want to sell me the one off your sled haha!

To Be honest with yah...i was looking at mine today and I think the way they get the chrome effect is take the yellow transparent wind shield and spray it black on the inside. This makes it look chrome color on the outside. I have a bit of paint scratched off the inside and if i look threw the scratch i can see the transparent yellow color. Just a thought.

I got the hood shroud from dennis kirk and the dragon logo came from Auto Trim Designs (709)785-1974. Ask for Shaun. Great guy, can design anything.

I was able to find another website that had the windshield, or so they say so I guess I will have to wait and see. I did find another place as well so I have a back-up plan this time and I KNOW this other place has them in stock. So it is now pretty much a waiting game to see what pans out. Either way I'm getting a damn yellow chrome windshield!!!:)
