Hey guys. Is there anyone that lives near, in, or around Rosemount, MN? I'm almost 100% positive I've decided to go to Lineman school at Dakota County TC. The problem is that I am from Central Wisconsin, and really have no idea where to begin to look for a place to live from July until May next year.

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks for the link! I am going to talk to someone up there hopefully this week or next and ask if anyone at the school knows where to find a house to rent or an apartment with a garage.

Anyone else?

Here's a similar link to what Max posted: Visit My Website

I actually live in Rosemount, the Limerk/Shannon ones I wouldn't recommend......

All of the other ones listed are pretty decent.....

I would think DCTC would have some housing info as well....

Good Luck!

"Farmer", do you mean Electrician, or Lineman? I'm a retired electronics instructor from Ridgewater. I'm not aware of a LINEMAN program, but I could be wrong. Maybe check their website. Ridgewater course offerings.
Glad your friend is happy with the program.!

Thanks for the link ZL500.

I am accepted to DCTC, and in Wisconsin, it's hard to get into a lineman program, so I am going to take advantage of getting in. I applied last year, and was put on a waiting list, so it must be similar in Minnesota.

MN Flats, I have a background in electronics. In May I graduate from a technical college here in La Crosse, with a diploma in Industrial Electronics Maintnence.....relays, basic wiring, mechanical drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, AC & DC motors.......

He started out as an electrician, then transferned into a lineman program.
