Had a great saturday ride, saw some moose, and took some pics, so I thought I'd share them. Don's heating can add any of the ones they took, I know they had a shot or two of 6 of us benching an upside down rev! On to the pics.

A very gansta father and son

"Its a bird!" "its a plane!" "its super bweeg!"

An awesome pair of guys to ride with

Almost back (went out for another 50 miles soon there after)

No good pics of our hosts, though they are in these pics, but a huge thank you to don's heating, you guys are awesome.

Yet again, I've shot off my own foot with my hack work craftsmanship.
A cudney head installed at 952 miles will yield a pinched head gasket on one cylinder.
Somehow, that bitch ran for another 3300 miles until the gasket finally let go.
No pitting, no damage, nothing in the bottom end.
At least we learned what it's like to dead lift a sled upside down.
Might just be back on the trail for the storm this weekend buttrock.gif

All I know is this.... grinning-smiley-023.gif It's either gonna run or it's not. couldn't help myself.

the riding was maybe the best all year
one ton fun
I met you guys on the trails this weekend. Did you see any black and yellow Apex's? I think I saw you guys outside of Derby, around charleston on Saturday.

We saw you at the intersection of the pipeline right ?? We were parked on the north side facing south and you came in from the south right ?
Then you blasted right at the intersection. I remember the vector. I only saw one that day. Was it your group ?

ROCK ON beer_cheers.gif
one ton fun
Yeah did you have more than one Nytro with you? I know I met you guys this weekend. My Yellow and Black Apex is rare. You can't miss that color combo.

You ain't kidding! I could have rode my old 90 Mach1 and not felt a bump! Really, its hard to believe that its the 23rd of March and have these kind of mid-winter pristine conditions. 111 and 114 were just perfect!!
one ton fun
Check out this pic from this weekend.

Nope, here were the contenders. black and yellow switchback 800, blue fx nytro, black xc sp 700, black rev 800, 2 black dragons, red rx-1
UnluckyDiablo
Nope, just one nytro, me. How'd you like the pipeline that day, just seemed perfect. Except for that friggen ice hole in the trail.... I hope no one besides me hit that, that jarred the hell out of me. So nice out, maybe this comming storm will extend it.
one ton fun
I saw you twice this weekend I know it. I met you right by the river on trail 5 Saturday Afternoon. I also saaw you earlier in the day. You can't miss that Yellow Switchback. Next season we have to get a HCS ride together.

Intersection OS14..... love that place. It's the begining of 13 miles of my favorite trail that I've ever ridden in my life. thumbsup.png

The start of our morning, thinking the crank is full of fuel. Well just as bad, the head gasket filled the cylinder w/ coolant. YAY
wtf.gif

A couple of fine ladies waiting to begin their journey

What happens when you mix coolant and fuel.....91 miles of smoke and a really nice guy w/ a sweet ass truck to bring me home. SAVIOR PACKAGE

Could we have it till may ? ?

Natures bench seat, groomer optional....but highly encouraged.

Was this place a saloon back in the day ??

It was no 218 miles, but hey....what can ya say. Riding + beer + burgers + comfy chair = OUT

Riding + beer + burgers + almost fliping ur sled over backwards in a mad wheelie = chatter box

I don't know what this equals.....A tall ass basketball player ?

home on lunch break wishing I was back in the NEK.

a bad day of riding is better than a good day at work smiley-faces7.gif

Just about to head in for the evening shift and I was thinking the same thing.... This weekend maybe? Trails were just so nice...

Parts are ordered, will be back in business for the weekend :-)
