has anybody tried to change gearing or clutching to help fuel mileage. my father drives his sled average trail speed and averages 15 mpg. the sled has lots of power and we were wondering if lowering the rpm at top end would help increase the fuel mileage. i would like to hear everyone's opinion.

Well I was consistantly getting 16-17 mpg with my 06 T660 ST this weekend. All I have done at this point is a JD Powersports intake.

There was 3 Yami's with us, 1 BRAND new FX Nytro, they were putting in about the same as i was 3.5 - 3.7 gallons and I put 3.2 in the 660 ST, we had 2 Ski Doo's with us both 800's and they put about 5 gallons in, they were getting about 10mpg's

We were riding between 50-65 then crankin em up to about 80-85, we were beating the sleds...
