as we all know sachs flywheel cooling fins are very prone to breaking off and then taking out the rest of them. mine is a bored 340ss mod motor and the fan just took a crap. and so to cure this problem i was thinking of running some type of automotive fan cut into the fan shroud to cool the motor and just not run a fan on the flywheel. this should cure at least this issue and pick up some power not having to turn the fan. has anyone tried this and does it effectivly cool enough. does any one know how much cfm the sachs fan puts out?
