I have a 93 xlt and would like to replace the stock track with a more aggressive one. If I can fit a aggressive one without having tunnel problems I won't stud it. I know I have to remove the tunnel protectors to get the taller lug in there. Would like to hear from those who have changed their 93 or 94 xlt's stock tracks.--Thanks--Mike

I got a 1.5" paddle on a 95 XLT SP without any issues, It started life as a 1.75" and it was just to damn tall so i cut them down a bit. If you want anything larger than a 1.5" roll the chaincase!

I have a 1.25 on mine, and im tellin yea you cannot go bigger than that with out 8 tooth drivers and big drop brackets, my track rubbed on the tunnel way to much, so i had to install drop brackets. Hey man if you want any upgraded parts for the xlt let me know.
mine has lots of upgrades and im willing to part it out.

believe it or not there was a 2 inch lug on the 500 efi I bought from a friend so I am sure you get at least a 1 and a halfer in it.

i just put a 1.5 or 1.75 track on mine, had to drop to 8 tooth drivers, and it looks like i will have to put drop brackets because i'm currently rubbing slightly on the tunnel supports.
