Thanks RWS for dragging me out, good ride all in all, great to meet feelthethunder as well. I dont know if the short cut was so short time wise but a chain saw should fix that. Could you send me the track so i could install in my mapsource?

Let me know when I can come back and do a whole day of this...off trail (crosscountry - exploring) riding is what I really like to do. Sent you the GPS track.

Close-up shot of the pressure ridges (as on the video) on Buffalo Bay...they run for miles and miles and made it difficult to find a place to cross.

Thanks for the track and great pics. I did some great cross contry riding Saturday in the "Whiteshell Backcountry" lots of snow out there, and many miles to explore without seeing anybody.

Looks like it was a good ride. We've done the the Whiteshell to Warroad ride a couple of time so I recognized some of the spots on the video.

Would not have thought that there would have been so much snow left

Have many miles did you travel along the ice ridge ,until you were able to get over it

Did not see any open spots when you were driving, would hate to have seen you take a swim
