Is there enough loose snow on top to keep the temp light from coming on and the hyfax lubricated?
snikr
Yes, what area the trails like in this area? I want to go out riding Friday 3/29.

The trails are excellent. Plenty of loose snow. No overheating problems. No open water bars. Best time to ride. It's like riding in mid February but with a warm March sun. What's not to like?

That's what I wanted to hear! Life is good. grinning-smiley-023.gif

one ton fun
I rode today in randolph. The trails are depleting quickly. I think that next weekend will be the last weekend that they are great.

I finally got out on the trails for the first time in two weeks yesterday, 99% of the East Randolph/ Randolph center loop was golden, then there was the water hole in the valley. Too bad the ground didn't freeze theis winter, we'd be riding until april 15 easy!

Oh yeah, One ton, were you riding with someone on a switchback, think I saw you go by...

Yeah I was riding with a switchback. Were you at your house or on the trail?

If I'm trailering up from Rutland/Brandon, where is a good place to put in? I'd like NOT to run down any roads if I don't have to. I don't mind crossing them, just not riding down any as I figure the ice/snow cover is long gone. Not in to mudding on a sled. On my ATV is another story. Thanks.

Tom,
It's Skip (Nice Rumble) from the FJR forum and The Bridges Ride last fall. I just realized why your name sounded familiar. Are you riding a Yamaha?
I'll send you a PM.

Niether, I was working on the farm, saw you guys go by, made me wish I had the afternoon free, beautiful riding weather today, and I was stuck in the tractor pushing manure around.

Skip,

Long time no see. I was wondering if it was you. No Yamaha for me, Polaris Pro-X2. Can't afford three Yamaha's....LOL. A FJR and a Warrior is enough for me. Hope you are right about the trails. I want one last ride this year.
