not without chassis mods to strengthen it and shock work. then a freestyle seat also.
Hanlon99
What chasis mods need to be done?

No matter what sled u have ur gonna blow out the back shock if its not an aftermarket one, and the tunnel braces are not hard to put on.

i wasn't talking about the shock
Hanlon99
Put more braces on/better, if you understood it, it said that he put beter braces on after.

One of my friends bent his runningboards on his 2008 phazer. So he braced it up...only to bend them again around the braces. Now he has put on more.

I know what it said but look at the pics you tool the tunnel is fine the rear skid is blasted!!!
Hanlon99
Skids fine, its just one of the shocks is blown out.

well shock i can help you out will, i can mkae you a all custom shock if you want one, anything you want on it i can about do. as for bracing ya you can add bracing and at bracing to the rails even. my question, would i not jsut be easier to get a iqr, or a rev 440 chassis?

Dads an idiot and won't let me. he sais they always blow up (he knows nothing) and besides why would i get one? I got a perfect brand new phazer.

they dont blow up if you spend a little time with them. main reason they blow up racing is people jet them on the end to make max power and then they frie them. i race a high compression 440 in XC and it lasts fine on 40 miles races pinned for long peroid of time. as for the phazer i just think it alot of work to turn it into what you want and you could save the money and get a better sled for cheaper. i just picked up a 08 IQR 600 with 3 race weekend on it for 6000. if you look you will find good deals. one quesiton though, how good are you are freestyle?
Hanlon99
Im good, cant do many tricks, i haven't freestyled a sled much more bikes.

i see. well what do you have for shocks in it right now and do you ahve a welder, riviter, etc to do all this stuff?
Hanlon99
Shocks in the rear are stock same with the fronts, the front are jsut fine, the back is going to start going becuase it takes the most abuse, i have no trouble with the running boards bending.

what i was trying to ask it what hsocks are they. from the osudns you dont have floats up front. are tehy all just the KYB rebuildilbe non reservoir shocks or are they even just non rebuildilbe shocks? im trying to just figure out what you got here so i can tell you wnat you need to do to really make it what you want.
Hanlon99
Front shocks are piggy back nitrogen and you can revalve them which is what im going to do, The rear has a reservoir.

ya ok i know what shocks they are now. they are not to bad of shocks. i can easiely rebuild and revavle all of them to better suit your needs. did you say the rear track keeps blowing?

No i just hear they do, so, can you revalve the front for freestyle?

ya i can revavle the whole thing. biggest thing riding ramps and big jumps is stiffer compression and low down the rebound.
Hanlon99
If i sent you the front shocks how much could you do it for????

my rate are 35 a piece for a reservior hsock rebuilds, the 15 a pice for revavles plus and seal cost needed (i only charge you for what i use) to do all 4 i have a 4 rebuild and a 4 revalve package deal that save 30 bucks. i do all the shocks for 130 and the all the revavles for 40. the wedistie is currently getting updated our id just send you there but check out allpartsracing.com
Hanlon99
Im going to get back to you close to the summer, so how much for the complete revalve of the front, including seals, i dont want the rears im gonna replace them.

So does the revalving just make them alto stronger.
Sled_head94
I'm wondering if a phazer fx with no mods could handle an 8 by 14 freestyle ramp, cuz i don't want to by new shox

Hanlon99
not gonna work.

Sled_head94
so i'd need new rear shox and a tunnel renforcer

Hanlon99
Revalve all the shocks, instead of buying new ones (im gonna try it before i buy new ones) and strengthen the nuns and rail reinforcements and nun reinforcments.

it makes them stiffer not really stronger but adding 16mm shafts would make it stronger but it will cost more to do that.

probably need. shock and cahssi work needs to be done. i race cross country you guys and ive help a few phazer guys out. the stock setup is not very good. the vavling is not very good and the springs are probably a little weak. they make a phazer race kit with heaveir sprigns also guys.

ya is way cheaper and they will be much better. the only shock id maybe get a new one you be the rear track shock but intsead of all new just a 16mm shaft and better clicker upgrade would be a good idea. i have way better clickers and can give oyu money back on the used stuff i take off so the cost is less also. here is what the clicker looks like i use (i think is the best, most adjustible clciker on the market by far) these are on the custom air2.0 shocks i made for racing xc.
Hanlon99
Time, my fronts are clickers if that means anything, you've been a great help.
