It's snowing in Burlington and accumulating. The riding in Chittenden County is over, but if we're getting it here, the hills should get a good dumping. WCAX claims 3-6 for us and 6-12 in the mountains.
Should be nice by Sunday.

Still plenty of snow from at least Randolph and anypoint north. Stay from about mid point of state and head east. Not much if any on the west side state. I work in Berlin and even though we got some rain, this snow is so compacted and hard I don't think it dropped any and we did get a little snow and freezing rain on it. It is snowing now, how much by the weekend is anyones guess. Suppose to get fairly cold the next few nights so that will freeze it up again with some new loose snow on top.

Snowing hard here in Newark at noontime. Groomers all out tonight and through the weekend. Riding should be fantastic!

gonna have to go up saturday then. what is the shortest distance i need to drive to do some decent riding? randolph? or exit of 91?

If you have a vast trail map look at it to see what area you want to ride and then get a rode map pick a route. If you don't have a vast map there might be one on vtvast.org, if there is it will be hard to read but will give you an idea. If you are going to ride up in north east kingdom probably stay on 91 but Danville or Groton might be good starting points, both of which can be accessed off of 91.
