LOOKIN TO GET A NEW AIR FILTER FOR MY 400EX, AND WANT A AIR FILTER, WHICH IS BETTER, TWIN AIR OR K&N?
THANKS

Neither, if you plan on getting in any dust K&N sucks, get a foam UNI filter, and get an Outerwears pre-filter to go on the outside. By far best setup you can have and its the best for your engine.

Both suck in my opinion, if i were in the market to buy a filter i would be buying a uni. K&N sucks with dust and mud
somebody
what they said! uni filter is way better at filtering then the k&n and is better constructed than the twin air.

I've hear the same thing about the dust and a K&N filter. I run a Uni on my 3 wheeler. When it gets dirty I just soak the in water with a lot of soap. Filter comes out clean and new. A little sticky Uni air filter oil on the foam and we are back in business.

Check out outerwears filters, its a filter that lets air in but not dust and water. They go for around 20 dollars shipped on ebay and are worth every penny.

Thanks Skidooguy I am going to have to order one of those. That should help keep a lot of the dust out of the foam, and should make it a bit easier to clean.
