You really have to ask in here? You know the answer is going to be Dragon all the way.

Personally im about to pull the trigger on a Dragon 600. The Doo is nice but having to move your feet back everytime you want to stand or just never have them forward is an issue. Other than that they are both quick, ones just built a little cheaper than the other but costs more. biggrin.gif

I have a 07 Dragon and had a 08 MXZ TNT both had pros and cons, I sold the TNT mid season for a big loss it was not comfortable to ride any long distances sitting down, the seat was like a brick after owning REV's I felt the footwells where to big to lock into and the mechanical and recall issues and horrible BRP support made it even less enjoying to own. The Dragon is more a do it all trail runner its very good everywhere while the doo was more of a groomed sit down or stand all day in the bumps sled no inbetweens. The wieght wasnt noticeable out on the trail after the first time the sleds packed with snow you couldnt tell a difference, the Polaris is warmer and has nicer gauges and better out of the box shock set-up the doo was to stiff in stutters but was to soft in the rough, gas mileage is better on the doo while oils better on the Polaris etc. etc.

One is in second year refinement and one has only been in mountain sleds. After a demo ride on a e-tec I'm definetly more comfortable on my Poo. Personally I am gonna try and show restraint and wait for 2010 until I trust the new Poo. If you have ridden the Doo and like it go for it, they seem to have gone through their growing pains this year or get a 600 Poo, thats the only proven performer in my book.

Yes, you are correct. The first year 800R didnt fair well at all in the mountains in `07, huge failure rates. The `08's in the 121"ers seem to be MUCH more reliable, also heard they turned down the RPM, maybe bad harmonics at higher rpm's. We have one in our group and it rips out of the hole and the motors been problem free. The 800 Polaris faired very well in the mountains from what i have read and mountain sleds get a serious workout. High rpm, high load for long periods of time, thats a real test.

I like the way the polaris sits alot better. The rev xp just sits kinda wierd.

I've ridden both the 800 XP X and the Dragon 700. The Dragon is a much better sled imho, the doo is better on fuel, speed and its ability to fall apart, thats it. IMHO its a POS from a build quality point of view. Also look around and see how cheaply they are now being sold, which should tell you something. The dragon's rear suspension is so vastly superior, its stabilty on trail and its abilty to navigate deep powder are traits that put it well above the XP. Know way in heck I spend my money on an XP, I'm trying to decide between an 09 dragon 6 or 800, hmmm.

^^^I was tossed over the same question, 6 or 8. Then I thought, better have the 800 and not need all the power than have the 600 and be wanting more. Besides, I rode the '09 800 IQ, it was awesome.
